"...I'm gonna be a Mythril, no matter what!" Ten years have passed since Rentt first made that vow. Ten years spent polishing his skills with the blade, studying lore, and helping out at the adventurer's guild, but he's still only Bronze rank. Still, every day he delves into the dungeon and gives it his all. And then one day, when exploring an unknown area of a beginner dungeon called the "Watermoon Labyrinth," he is eaten by a dragon. He thinks his life is over, but instead awakens to find himself in the form of a skeleton, the weakest monster of all. Instead of giving into despair, though, he starts to think about what he can do to change his fate. He uses the monster's power of "existence evolution" to try and get stronger and stronger, and one day become human once more. Rentt, now an undead, resumes his journey to become a Mythril rank adventurer.
